Special Grants

Grants provide funding to help establish or expand Lions-initiated or supported service projects that address critical and diverse human and social needs in North Carolina. Funding is prioritized for the equipment and infrastructure needs of such projects. All grant proposals should meet one or more of the Foundation's traditional funding concerns: humanitarian services, aid for the blind and visually impaired, and aid for the hearing impaired.
